Mine stays stable between 78 and 80 throughout the day. normaly 78 spot on, but ocasionaly reaches 80. Not worth sweating over, I'd just shoot for between 77 and 80 and if it goes a little lower or higher sometimes, no big deal. Just want to avoid constant fluctuations in temp. The ocean changes temp too, but not very quickly
