I have a 220g mixed reef. I'm a fan of a couple dif reef safe wrasse and cleaner shrimp..I've been lookin at a melenarus wrasse,, christmas wrasse,,leapord wrasse. Like I said I'm also a fan of cleaner shrimp also. How are any/all these types of wrasse wit cleaner shrimp???

....in my experience Melanarus get more aggressive as they get older as well as the Christmas..Leopards are probably the safest with larger shrimps, but there are exceptions with all three...

I had 3 peppermint shrimp and put in a christmas wrasse the shrimp were fine for about 7 months and then they all disappeared

I have 2 large cleaner shrimps and a six-line, together for about 6 months now. The shrimp had been in the tank for about 6 months prior to introducing the wrasse. I bought him small size and was one the last two fish (the other one was a flame angel) I added. He has been great and does not bother the shrimp or other inverts. I guess time will tell but I feel he'll continue to be a good citizen.

If you feed properly with them (2-3 times/day) you should be fine. It's the Halichoeres wrasses in that list which could be suspect; the Macropharyngodon is completely safe with them.

yea I figured the melenarus and Christmas might be the ehhhhh ones on the list. lol. some sites have them reef safe, others have them non reef safe. I would make sure the shrimp are in there for a couple months first before tryin to add them. and I would also purchase the large cleaner shrimp so they have some size to start off with...
