reefalicous reef - 180G's baby!

Sorry about the fish loss...typical that the one fish you been trying to catch all along lives...and the other die! :headwally: I bet that fish is thinking...yeah you need to get used to me...

That teal acro looks AMAZING! :inlove: The other one is nice too. But the teal one is super!

Hope in the the coming months you're able to post an FTS or two. Goodluck. :)

That sucks about the holiday disaster Ryan, sorry things went south with the tank while you were away :( How is everything coming along now mate - the teal is a little stunner btw.

Thanks mate, colours are good as is growth, only issue im having is some hair algae. My bro and I can make you some frags to send down when its a lil cooler, say Feb-March?

Also where in melbourne are you? I go to Spotswood for work regular.

Thanks Sahin, i actually pulled half the scape out to catch the tang, I then decided to change the right hand bommie while i was at it.

That acro came from a new business called Ultra Coral Australia (former CDU). They believe it is possibly a new species or a turaki, a sample will be going to the uni for identification.

I will post a FTS over holiday period, just excuse the hair

Hi Ryan, frags from you guys would be awesome :) I'm at Campbellfield which is on the very northern skirt of Melbourne and you would go right past me if you were driving down here mate. I'm sure you could find a few acros in my tank worth snipping and relocating to Sydney.
Glad the algae is the only thing still left to deal with from that fish incident. To be expected really after the massive nutrient spike that occurred with the deaths.

update time, finally kicked the hair algae, to celebrate decided to post some pics

Very nice tank! What did you do to combat the HA? I couldn't see any in the previous pics
Thanks. TBH I didnt do anything, just paitence I knew it would go eventually so just kept up with regular WC etc. I now have a bit of cyano which I am treating the same way.

Bloody awesome Ryan, the colors would be ridiculous to see in real life i know.
I think you should practice lots more macro photography and feel free to post the ongoing results here mate. Have you got any SPS risky fish like dwarf angels etc - you strike me as a risky fish risk taker.........:p

Called it !!!!!!!! :smokin:

You super glued their mouths shut didn't you........... you won't admit it but we all know....... :p I have always wanted a flame angel especially when i see the really eye popping colors on some batches at the LFS compared to others, some color variants just pop right out and demand your attention. Pics are now required of yours for a brutally honest assessment by me. :)
