reefbrite xho only lit, good enough?

I been out of the hobby for about 5 years and want to get. Been reading and mostly everyone using led only have shadowing issues on SPS dominant tanks. I came across





Looks ridiculously clean. I was thinking about using 2 50/50 xho and 3 blu xho. Total of 5 strips. Since the strips are spread out, wouldn't it help with shadowing? Also, should I go for the 60in strips on the 60in long tank or would the 48's be enough.

That whole set up is beautiful. But for the price it would cost you you would better benefit from a nice t5/led fixture. Or straight LEDs with the ability to be adjusted for cycles.

With that budget I'd be looking at a t5 LED hybrid fixture like the ATI or geissemann. I did a DIY with my ATI which I'm happy with for now, but if this is a fixture on display it's hard to beat either of those

Good valid points. May have to look into those hybrids.
