Just received this:
The Bad News:
Due to inclement weather the group buy shipment scheduled for today has been delayed. I am working with the coordinator to get the shipment rescheduled. Sorry for the short notice, we had it forecasted through the weather channel last week to be in the 20s or better. That is clearly not the case. At the temperatures you are facing, the chances of shock from even brief exposure to the elements seems to risky. I realize many of you wanted to pick up the items at the meeting, and that this delay causes an inconvenience. We would like to work with members of CSEA to make the distribution of the packages as easy as possible. If there is anyway we can make this easier for you let us know.
The Good News:
We will be sending extras with every order. While I realize the extra inconvenience is probably not worth extra snails, macro and mangroves, but it is your weather that messed it all up, it is 70 degrees here!
Give me a call on my cell phone if you have any questions. I am still working with my crew on our other shipments today going to different parts of the country, but I will be personally available to you from 3pm - midnight EST to discuss any concerns you might have. If some of the members would like to work with other members to carpool the orders to different parts of town I will forward those lists to the coordinator, and mark the packages so that this process becomes as seamless as possible. Just send me the real names (no screen names please), of those members you want your order combined with. You can reach me at (561) 339 - 7532.

Just got this from John "So I will ship it out to the same address on Wednesday for arrival before 3pm Thursday? Sorry for the redundant emails, but I always like to double check when I got a few grand going out the door"
So I will be at the zoo for you cleveland folk at 7pm thursday night, Im going to try and park right at the building where we have our meetings.

I have to email them and find another solution or cancel my $90 order. I live 1 hr and 20 minutes from the zoo and 45 minutes from Akron so neither are a convenient pickup for me. I will try to arrange shipping to my house. Thanks for doing the work so far but it was only convenient to me since I was going to make the trip to be at the meeting anyway.

He is going to ship it at a very reduced rate. I will just have it at my door on Friday when my wife is off work. Like I said, thanks for doing all the legwork and finding the bargains. I am glad he is so easy to work with or I would be getting my cleanup critters for a lot more money somewhere else.
I qualified for the free shipping but not the EXPRESS. He just charged the difference between the two and he will eat the difference. It's not worth the time and gas to try to meet up just to save the $15 shipping to my door.
Sounds like a good guy.
