Reefdesigns? anyone heard of them?

I just received an e-mail from them. It appears to be a weekly mailer of specials and such. The prices seem quite good. They list a gainsville address (P.O. Box) but a 954 phone number (Could be cell). I don't know how they got my e-mail address, I never visited their web site! They might have mined it from here...

I'm wondering if anyone here has ever dealt with them...

no not at all, very poorly developed. its very plain and could be set up in a few minutes. they are obviously not tech savy. the website make me feel that they are a bit shady.

I don't know about these guys, but if a poor looking web site actually meant how their service or stock was, 90% of the Local fish stores in South Florida would fit into the same category. All I asked was if anyone ever heard of them.

I run a mail order business. I do have a web site, but haven't updated it in 5 years. I don't get any business from it (nor require it).

Check out some of Reefdesign's auctions on eBay. An example of one of their regular "Buy It Now" auctions is 500 hermits for $90 plus shipping. They work part time in Orlando and part time here. I've been trying to catch up with them for a while (for crabs AND snails), but they can be tough to reach sometimes.
