Reefer 350, side not touching stand *Help*

I just bought a reefer 350 and noticed that on the right side the tank isn't resting on the mat. There's a 1,5-2mm gap between the tank and the black foam mat.
It gradually decreases and disappears entirely after 15cm from the edge of the side.

The strange part is that the tank itself is relatively level so I'm suspecting that's somethings wrong with the stand (I bought it used so can't really contact Red Sea for a replacement).

Would it be safe to fill or am I running the risk of cracking the bottom panel?
Would it help if I raised the stand on the right side with some shims or placed more foam under the part of the tank that isn't supported?

Thanks a lot guys!

Placing more foam will not solve your issue. It sounds like the stand is the culprit. With that small of a gap you can shim underneath a piece of plywood on top of the stand and then put your foam over the top of that once you have it all level and on plane. I would not risk filling it up as currently stated.

Thank you for that input! On closer inspection I think I've found the culprit:

The previous owner must have spilled some water which made the wood rise a bit. Notice the line getting bigger over the support wall.

My plan is to test fill it to see if the weight can correct the issue itself, if not I'll shim it up somehow.

Used aquariums are tough, you do not know what the seams have been thru, how it was transported and twisted. A friend found out with a 300 gallon when the seam let lose all over his house with thousands in damage.

Can you turn off your lights in the room and put a light behind the tank so we can better see the gap. But since you determined that their is a gap, try to fix the stand if possible.

I guess thats why i hate rimless tanks, tanks that have trim you only need to support the 4 corners. the middle doesnt matter at all.

I bought my first acrylic tank a 55g cube and its warped from the previous owner.. at first i thought it was the stand and it was, and because of that being on a uneven stand the stand "formed" to the stand, so when i actually made it flat, it wouldnt sit flush.. lol
