Hey guys,
I'm a sophmore at ISU this year and I finally got an apartment this year and I've been itching to start a pico reef. My plan is a 2.5gal or 5gal (leaning towards the 2.5g right now) and stocking it with misc corals and a clown goby.
The plan I have is great so far except for 1 detail... What to do when I move back to chicago in the summer... I do have a 75gal reef back home, but not sure I want to deal with moving the saltwater things 6 hours away. It was a pain bringing my 4 red belly piranhas back home after last semester.
I was wondering if there was a market here for when I do move back for the summer, I would be able to sell off my livestock and keep the equipment till I move back in and start fresh. Or maybe even look for someone who would be able to house my livestock for 3ish months while i'm away.
Just testing waters here to see who's around... this section doesn't seem to be very active versus the CMAS area i'm used to.
