Hi everyone. I live in Stuart, Florida and am interested in joining a local club. Treasure Coast is perfect for me as well.
I have been a hobbyist of aquariums since I was a kid and for years bred African Cichlids.
I am now getting back into the hobby and decided to try saltwater. No tank yet. Just want to learn all I can about it before I start one.
I'm thinking of doing a 29 gallon as I have limited space, but all ideas are welcome. Is 29 gallon too small?
Anyway, looking forward to hearing from all of you locals.

Since there are only a few of us, we should go ahead and decide on a date for a meeting. Almost any evening is good for me (except July 30, 31 lobster mini season).

Any of you locals have tanks that you are not using? I am looking to start up a 55+ reef tank with fish, but don't have a ton of cash to work with. Looking for a local deal if possible. I have been told that in order to breed clowns I need at least a 55 gallon. Is this about right?

the second meeting meeting was a blast. we even had a few door prizes donated and some nice frag trading.
