Reefgeek T5 SLR Retrofit Installation Help

I just got these last night but i have no idea how to install them. I was hoping you guys can help with this.

I have a 4x54W T5 SLR reflectors and two Vossloh Shwabe ballasts that are 2x54W aswell.

I guess it came with everything i need but im really confused on how to hook everything up.

I've also included the installation instructions that were sent to me.

Here is the first picture of what i have received. Now i have another set of these since i ordered 4. But im guessing its the exact same installation on the other two.

The wiring is two red wires, two yellow wires and two blue wires also
one extra yellow wire in the small bag as you can see next to the ballast.

I just don't understand the lingo in there. I wish there were just drawings instead.

The lamp clips im assuming are the white things i screwed in on one of the reflectors.
The End-caps and the Mount im assuming are the round inserts and the flat plastic pieces respectively.
I don't know what they mean by spacers/feet.

it'll actually be harder for me to explain it to you....you got any free time coming up? i can come show ya

but those directions are pretty solid...but a good hint is that the extra yellow wire in the bag is for connecting 2 bulbs to 1 ballast (which is how you ordered them)....so definitely follow the 2-lamp figure.....that extra yellow pieced should be labled on the figure to understand it better (but isn't!)...hope that helps

Yeah, the pic on the ballast for the 2 bulb setup should work fine, Just figure out which wires go from the ballast to the end caps and hook them up just as the diagram shows. I am not sure how to actually wire the end caps, but the wires go into the ballast by pressing in on the buttons and sliding the end of the wire into the hole. Like gsusfreak said, it will be easier for him to show you... Good luck!

ok i think im starting to figure this out.

I have one question. Lets say two blue wires go from the ballast to one end cap. Do i need to follow each wire and make sure it goes according to diagram or does it not matter which way they go?

Their instructions are pretty good.

Be careful, though, having the end caps just kinda hanging there... I don't remember exact numbers, but the voltages through those bulbs are quite high... seems like 600v or more.

It wasnt the instructions. I just had to look harder at the wiring diagrams
