does anyone have the reefkeeper 2 system ? i would like some feedback on it or other system thanks

I just got the Aqua JR. I was in the same boat U are in ,which one to buy. I love the JR .I think it would be hard to bet. I got mine from ReefGeek ,they have a good price on the bundle.

Just finished connecting all the devices on My new Aqua Jr.
Great features, easy to program, and so far everything is working and even the Metal halides have a different glow.
I like it.

So should I caugh up the extra 30$ for a serial port or 100$ for the serial and ph controller option? Anybody know how to make it call your cell phone if the paramaters in your tank go out of wack?

Thanks hard rock I was really hoping that someone would come through and say yes. How accurate are the standard ph and temperature probes? How easy is it to use to automate your lights and pumps? Do you need extra uprades in equipment for the lights and pumps to work correctly with the JR. Thanks for the info-

Brad

I was looking at the one on marine depot with serial for 170$ but will probably opt for the ph probe in possibly reefgeeks package-

The temp probe is standard .The ph probe comes in a standard and Lab grade . Get the Lab.U will have to read the manual the first time u set it up.It is not a vacuum cleaner .U will have to read the manual, but after that first time and u see what is going on U can make changes with your eyes closed .It will control your lights and pumps after u fine tune it right out of the box. When u get it u'll have all the help u need in the set up.They have great custermer help with the phone # in the manual.I wanted one pump on 10min. then the other pump on 10min.. I called the guy he sent me right to the page in the manual and walked me right thou the set up of the pump.It is a very nice piece of equipment. U will need a 7 and a 12 ph calibration liquids.U will have to calibrate the ph probe before u use it , and the rinse solution to rinse the probe between the 7and 12 liquids.
