Reefkeeper2 or AquacontrollerJr.

I want to get a controller for my AP24 and both of these units seem to be about the same in terms of what they will do. I personally don't have a need for the ph probe other than being able to see what my ph is at any given moment, so I most likely won't be ordering that add on unit. Any suggestions, comments on either of these will be greatly appreciated.

From what I've researched on the two (I'm shopping for a controller at the momment myself), the aquacontroller jr. is the superior unit. Of course, check out this thread to see the comparisons:

The ACJr is a lot more versatile in that you can program them through scripts. I'm sure that the RK2 has enough menu driven options to give you what you typically want, but if you are like me the added control you can get through programming is a huge benefit. You can also add on more DC outlets (maximum of 12 for the ACJr and the stock 8 for the RK2). Other than these differences, they are rather comparable. Considering that they are comparably priced, the ACJr is the better unit IMO.
