Reeflink connection

What's the best way to connect my reeflink. My tank is in the detached garage and my wifi is in one of the bedroom. I did the setup but the reeflink did not pick up the radions. I tried moving the reeflink to the back of the my house and still no luck.

Any suggestions?

Ideally, your ReefLink should be within about 150 feet of your Radions. Walls and other obstructions will decrease the range. The RF used in Radions and ReefLinks has a shorter range than that of your Wifi router so you could afford to be much closer to your Radions. In your situation, it sounds like you need to experiment until you find a happy medium. You could also buy a Wifi range extender that you simply plug into the wall to boost your Wifi signal across your house. I have the same problem as you so I bought this product from DLink: http://us.dlink.com/products/access-points-range-extenders-and-bridges/wireless-range-extender/

Please let us know the outcome.

hi Shaun,

I was able to connect my reeflink to the extender and got ecosmart live to work. Tested with my phone as well and everything works great. Thx for the suggestion.
