ReefLink ring not blue

I've encountered similar problems, with three different Reeflinks. After speaking with support, I think we narrowed the problem down to some type of RF interference, possibly with a Sonos wireless HiFi system.

The Reeflink has been behaving as expected with a wired connection to the router. Not the best alternative, but less frustrating for now.

Have you tried opening it to make sure your RF module is firmly connected. Told my LFS about my problem and at least 1 person had the same problem.

Yes, Ecotech support walked me through the process a while back. It wasn't fully seated, but unfortunately reseating the module didn't correct the issue.

I am having a similar problem I can see my light but when I try to program schedual my reef link disconects and it does the same when trying to update my mp 40 ??

Alex, how far do you recommend moving the reef link from wireless activity ?
Is it better to have it located in a room with no other wireless devices present ?
What are the "preferred" distances from the router that solves or lessens these issues so many of us are having.
Can an phone or tablet cause a disruption ?
