Reeflink Vortech programming suggestions?

I just started using the schedule option via ios app for my 2 MP40's. Does anyone have any program schedule that they like? Also, what is expanding pulse mode? Thanks.

I can't figure out how to tune a wave in, so it can be used in nutrient export mode.... As soon as I do it manually, it resets my pumps to before the update... So no reef link control

We are in the process of compiling some templates that will take the guesswork out of scheduling your VorTechs using the app.

Expanding Pulse: Over the course of one hour the pump will go from a 250 millisecond Short Pulse to a 2 second Short Pulse, gradually changing the pulse rate over that span. It's similar to what happens in the first 45 minutes of Nutrient Transport mode. It pretty much guarantees that a standing wave will form in the aquarium since it goes slowly through all the Short Pulse timings automatically.

As you have found, it is currently not possible to auto-tune a wave using VorTech integration in the iPhone app. We are working on adding that and other exciting features so you will have all existing functionality as well as new features with VorTech control in ESL.

Stay tuned...

Having said that wave auto-tuning is not currently available, you can achieve the same result by scheduling an anti-sync relationship between two pumps and then live demo Short Pulse mode on the master pump to dial in a wave. It is similar to auto-tuning, however it is a bit more manual. Once you find a Short Pulse live demo setting that you like, you can save it as a preset by tapping the star icon above the speed wheel.
