Reeflink vs USB

If I'm using reeflink and one day decide to use a USB, do I need to completely remove reeflink in reeflink management?

I would not recommend switching between the Connection Manager and ReefLink. That said, if you do please make sure the ReefLink is unplugged while using the Connection Manager and the Connection Manager is closed while using the ReefLink.
