Jennifier. it actually came with the tank I bought so I dont have a whole lot of information. I think it was 1 or two years on it. the reason it was backup pump is I have another one I bought that was a bit more grungy, and I had to replace that seal so it went under the house for my closed loop pump. I kept this one in case they ever went down, but in a year, everythign has peformed flawlessly.
I bought the one I am using now when I was going to setup the 225 but when I got the deal on the 180, this came with it. its been sitting in the garage since august. I plugged it in to bump the power and it is nice and quiet. I did use it for about a month.
in its previous life it was a closed loop pump so it has not had many start cycles. just free run which is better for the motors.
