Has anyone had any overflow issues with their 250? I've had two in the last week. Luckily I have my waste collector fitted with a float switch to shut off the skimmer, however, with a 5G waste collector, I'm introducing too much fresh water when I have one of these events. (I may need to go to a smaller vessel)
I keep my water level just below (1/4") the skimmer neck flange and I run it with the air valve fully open.
I've noticed when I do a power outage test that the skimmer overflows when the power comes back on, however, I've not had any power issues in the last week.
Any thoughts on a safer water level to run the skimmer at and still maintain performance?
I'm probably going to start troubleshooting by lessening the amount of air in the chamber before I lower the water level.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
