Reefobsession 93 Cube Build!!!!

Nice setup!!!!! I know this is probably really late and you have taken care of the durso deal, but this is what I did and it works really well. I capped it just as you did on top of the T piece then drilled and threaded the hole and put in a valve that I could regulate with. The valve was threaded on one side. Here is a picture sorry about the angle. Good luck with everything!!!

Your dorso looks really good. It looks like you have done a couple plumming jobs. My plumming works great but I really wish I could do what you have done. I can't really drill holes in my wall becasue I live in a rental.

On a sad note my copperband was doing really well. Eating twice a day and when I woke up this orning he was dead. I really can't undenrstand it. I hate doing this to these beautifull creatures... Even though I did everything I could I still feel responsible. Fish showed no signs of death when I got him.

I seem to have had some bad luck with fish. I have last two fish in the past 3 months.
I am never going back to my LFS again. I feel that the only reliable place I can buy fish is from phishey business in Columbus, OH and liveaquaria.

On a good note I started my Ecobak pellets.

Thanks for the compliment. Rentals put a damper in these type of projects. I have also not had much luck with fish lately. Lost a Flame angle, an anthia, a salfin tang and a hippo tang. I feel absolutely terrible about it and have given up on buying any fish for a long time, just corals for now I guess. Subscribed to ya, gotta keep tabs on our fellow cubers.

Here are some pic updates!
I want to thank PUParrothead for giving me some free frags. Some of them were huge!! Especially the Red Planet

Looking good man!!!! Those sure are some nice frags!!! and for the price of free you cant beat it. How are the fish enjoying the new landscape? Any plans on the new stand you were wanting to build. If you need any ideas I would love to help, my friend and I build stands for his wife's clients. I have one of those 2 foot tall canopy's and i dont think that it looks to bad. But awfully hard to get into the tank with the pendant in the way!!! Hope all is going well.

Yeah can't beat free:bounce1::bounce1: Fish like the new landscape alot. I had to change it around for my corals. I am going to let them grow in for a while. I am going to focus on getting some more fish and clams now. I would love to build a stand right now, but I think I will hold off for a year or so when I buy a new house. I just got a job offer from carpenter corporation
capenter.com in Elkhart, IN. SO I will be living in South Bend, IN more than likely. I want to wait and mach our furniture. I also want to get a new lighting system. I am really interested in the aqua illumination Sole blue LED modules. Not only so they put out a ton of par, the controlability of these lights are umbelievable: thunderstorms, dusk, dawn, cloud coverage. They are too cool. :bum: To celebrate my job offer, I am going to buy a new clam and a fish this weekend. I havn't bought anything for my tank in a long time.

How is your tank coming along?

Thanks again PUParrothead!!
I just got a new fish yesterdary. It is a tricolor fairy wrasse. It has a great personality and is not shy a all. I am really happy with her. I also ordered 3 bartlett anthias from premium today. They will be here tomorrow!
Here is a pic of the wrasse

I hope my solar wrasse calms down a little bit. It is picking on my barlets a litle bit. From what I can see there is no nips in the fin. Hope it settles over night.

how's that screen frame holding up? Any corrosion? I thought about doing something similar. Rather than the mesh you purchased, I was going to use plastic mesh screen for patios...too fine/ tight of a mesh?

Love the tank(s) by the way.

Thanks!!!
The frame is holding up great. Coroding slightly. No sign of rust yet. Good thing about the frame is it is really cheap.

Nice setup. Did you set up an auto-feeder for your anthias? I've have seen that their success is more common in systems that feed small portions of pellets several times during the day.

i still do not follow this thread.
isn't this supposed to be a 93g cube reef setup? Not sure why the last few posts showing the Elos? I am kind of lost.
thanks

Can you give me the inside dimensions of your stand, especially the inside height? I've been trying to get an answer from someone at marineland or perfecto but unable to and I just bought the same tank, really would rather not
Build another stand but might have to if I can find out the sizes
