reefpack 250 filter

Hi there,
I ran the 250 setup for a month now, the filter suddenly having some issue with puffing out air bubble every 5-10 seconds. The water level is high enough so that the inside of the filter never empty. I clean the sponge every 2-3 days and flow looks ok. Any idea?

Too much media inside, if you have any recollection of old air driven box filters from the 50's to 80's, the media had to be very lightly packed. This is kind of the modern motorized equivalent and again the media should be very lightly packed, the floss that is included for example should be enough to fill it 10 times.
