have got some ssrious Problems with my Reefpack 500. Bought this new in may 2008. First 2-3 months no problems but now I need serious Help!
The Skimmer (DOC 9010) is loosing a lot of micro bubbles, out of the casing, underneath where the Pump is fitted and made fast.
It is loosing so many bubble that the Skimmer is as good as not skimming at all. I have had it out of the tank, looked at all fittings, and everything looks ok. no loose bits, nothing broken off and the tube is also in place. Still it is loosing a lot of bubbles. At the same time the Cleaner/Filter is blowing massive amount of bubbles into the tank. Have changed the cartridge, did not help.
It makes no difference if light is on or not, even when the light was not on all day still have the problems. So it cannot be a over production of oxygen. Now a lot of corals have cloed up and are not opening again. What can I do???
