Reefpack 505 question

I have Tunze Reefpack 505 in my 66g tank, without sump, it is working just excellent, very quiet and good skimming, but i have problem with lot of bubbles. please tell me is there any solution???

Roger bubbles are coming from the skimmer, when I am lowering the air intake skimming is becoming too slow but bubbles are not disappearing. I would like to know can I put some filter material between pump and Cover with four slots to make a bubble trap?

The best would be this, it will fit properly, it is made for the 3179 filter-

Anything similar will work, I would also try to close the front intake this will also reduce bubbles.
