I was really please. Never been there, saw their name mentioned here, and decided to visit.
Coincidentally, around that time, I got a coupon book in the mail, around Wed/Thu or so. Reef's Edge had a half-page ad, with coupons, if any of you have that book.
It has 50% off live rock, buy 1 get 1 1/2 off on coral and fish, $29.99 blue powder tangs.
When I visited, they had a TON of blue hippo tangs, if any of you are looking. They had everything from dime/nickel-sized and up! Mark and company were really nice, and I was very pleased with what I got, what they had, and the service/attention I received! 2 thumbs up!
They also had a half-and-half wrasse, which is not seen often. I have one I got at Age of Aquarium. Peaceful, not a finicky eater, doesn;t mess with the other fish. It picks a crevice, and lays down in it to sleep at night.
This wrasse will fool you - when I frst got it, several times I thought it was dead, and when I got near it to check (net, etc...) it took off!!!
as juveniles (like mine, and the one at Reef's Edge), they are yellow-tailed,black on the back half, silvery-white on the head, with a diagonal split between the two. Interesting and not too often seen.
