Ca1ore: If you notice back on my stand pictures I used 3/4" Advantech sheeting for my stand top, why? Because it is perfectly straight no imperfections guaranteed. Its by far the best sheeting available for decks of houses but if your ever looking for a 100% flat work area grab a sheet of that and you'll be impressed.

Dave.M: I would use 3/8" problem is no where around here carries it, I had to special order all my 3/8" acrylic for my sump... I have 1/4" readily available, and cutting a flange across the top by routing it out is not out of the question.

If you are still looking at CA reactors I use a MRC CR-4 on a 500 gallon system and a CR-2 should keep up with your tank no problems. Even with heavy sps and is also a dual chamber unit so you get the extra buffering of the second chamber. Build looks good so far!

Ya, there are some great reefers from Dyer on here, some with a lot of knowledge, Originally I'm from Dyer lived there for 20 years until we moved to Crown Point

I have 4 tanks I could get rid of:

1: 72 Gallon Bow front, No overflow 12 years old(Perfecto)
2. 54 Gallon Corner, No overflow 8 Years old(Marineland)
3. 180 Gallon Bow front, 2 overflows in corners, Leaked back in '08 I had it repaired and have not used it since.
4. 75 Gallon with corner overflow, 4 years old

I would have to inspect all these tanks to see any damage or leaks. I would give them away but I would like to make sure personally they have no faults.

I was the original owner of every tank I listed and they all have been set up for reef purposes. So they only had saltwater in them.
