Reeftank won't start properly

I started my 5th reeftank ever last year in august. Dry rock cycled the tank 65G and had 2 clowns in there.

Last april I descided to move the reeftank and switched to a redsea reefer 350.

I weekly add bacs, my nutreants are well under control. Nitrates 2,5ppm and phosphates 0,00 with Hanna 713I. 2 Reefled 90 lights and 2 gyre 350 for flow.

Calcium at 430 and mag 1320. Kh stable at 8.

I have some SPS, some LPS and 2 softies.

I do a 50L waterchange every month with natural seawater.

For some kind of reason the tank has NO consumption of ca, mg or kh at all.

My corals are up to color and have polyp expansion. I don't have any clue why my tank does not start to consume. Adding 2 part dosing would also mean renewing elements. The tank seems just idle the last months.

I am now dosing some wodka to feed bacteria and every other day 2 drops of amino's.

Is there anything I can try to kickstart growth and consumption? Even after more than a year there is no trace of corraline algea.

I never ever had this issue.

Thanks for any advice.

I believe Coraline has a lot to do with lighting. It has taken almost 6 years but now it has started to grow in my system. LED's.
As long as growth of everything else is OK I would not worry.

I always used normal bucket salt, and ran home made led lights and coraline grew like a pest

Not sure if this place is still in business, but their product worked for me. I started to see coralline in a few weeks on the powerheads.

https://arcreef.com/product/coralline-algae/

I used use premade saltwater, and dozed CA/Carbonate daily.

I think the key is try to keep phosphates super low or 0.

If you used dry rock, then it could take 1 year or more for all the phosphates to leech out of those rocks. In presence of elevated phosphates, I don't think coralline algae will grow, at least no sustainable.

As for the Hanna Checker, I have the same one. It is "ok", but they do have a +/- range. With the same exact water sample, I can get different results. If you mix the reagent with the sample and get even a slight hue of blue, then there are phosphates in your tank. The water should stay clear even after sitting for awhile if there super low phosphates.

Thanks for the help.

My phosphates are 0,0 with hanna and nitrates are 2.5.

Now for 2 months my tank did not consume any kh nor ca. Corals are open and up to color. This is so frustrating.

I was even thinking about adding phosphates because the tank might run to lean.
