I am having issues getting my user PW reset... I do not know what's up with that... Anyway, how goes it???

I have been very discouraged as I had a major crash and a cople large losses since getting back in.... I blame most of this on myself for not keeping up with the system like I should.

I just got her all cleaned back up and she looks great right now. I am always looking for nice corals that will not cost me an arm and a leg so if you have em out there, let me know.

Good to hear from you again. I am finally getting some corals to grow but they are all still too small to frag.

I think I finally found out a lot of my past problems were caused by low potassium. After I started getting more corals again I noticed they quit growing and started fading. I upped my potassium and the colors came back and they started growing again.

Potassium seems to be the talk of the day, especially if your running a ULNS type of system like Zeo media or Bio Pellets.

I had a busy and life event type of year in 2011 so my tanks were fairly neglected..lsot most my zoos and some other orals, still have some, but PO4 is my enemy. My sanded is old enough where it is probably crystalizing as my Calcium is at 600 yet I have note dosed in a year LOL.

So this holiday break I got off my arse (since I am now feeling better) and set up a 220 I had sitting for a year and have that seeding now,,almost done. I have a 2nd 220 that I will replace my 180 with (next to the first 220) and collapse all 7 tanks into those 2 tanks..much easier to maintain and stabilize.

No corals for sale yet, but I am sure my wires salty thumb will have us back to having very cool and higher end/harder to get corals again in 6-9 months. She was great at propagating and we are already lining up some of our old friends who have the more exotic stuff to get us started again.

Fcamdog (Fidel) probably has some stuff so ping him, and H@rry down in Alabama always has something going on for frags. Reefkoi (Chris) out of Colorado has a large selection, is reasonable, and is an absolute pleasure to work with too.

I am back in love with the tank... Uh oh... here goes more money... LOL

Low Potasium, just throw in a couple bananas Mike!

Yeah, potassium problems seem to be going around lately. I never even thought about it until I saw Rick posting about it. I wouldn't call my system low nutrient but I guess possibly my huge skimmer could be taking some of it out.

Welcome back Eric! There is some guy named Wik trying to impersonate you.

I did think of bananas but I thought this guy might eat them all.

If I were closer, I could get you loaded up. Planning on being in the Montgomery area any time soon?

I saw a couple of Rick's cats at the clinic a couple of months ago. He is doing well. If you want anything I have Eric you know where to find me;)

Thanks fellas.... I am piecing it together now. Have to get my reactor media tomorrow. I will then set that puppy up and go from there....

Nice to see you again Eric. I am hoping to make it to more meetings. It is funny that I felt like the new guy. :D

They actually called me the new guy at my first meeting after I moved back to Mid TN. I don't blame them, they didn't now me...but it was weird.

Eric, it was good to see you this weekend at the meeting. I know its been a long time but I bought a Large Hydnopora from you when I lived in Lavergne. that was back in 2006 (according to old photos)

Hope those Zoas do well for you.

That's funny:). As the one who pulled the club through the inital 4-5 years (after losing the Pres, VP (ahem-mr reewik;)), and secretary to hobby outages and location changes), I can say you are a big part of the reason I didn't give up on it;).

I feel like I just kept it afloat and that Jack took it on to the next level. I loved doing it, so I just kept doing what I was doing:). I think the club started growing when he took over, or at least took more structure and had more interaction. It was the learned philosophies from reefers like you on how to treat the community that helped me develop as a reefer;).

Awe... look at all the love... LOL

Had to get out at the time man.... I am back in it now though... LOL
