Does anyone know of a place near Elk Grove where I can fill up my CO2 canister? I looked up welding in the yellow pages but I mainly find welding services. Also how much does it cost?

Thanks,
Gabe

The closet one I found near EG is on Elk Grove Florin and Power Inn (i think its an airgas) and cost for a 7lb was like $20 or so.

Stop by at Sports Chalet on Bond Laguna rd. (Right next to Pet Club.) There is a Scuba shop there that does O2 and CO2 refills for Scuba and Paintball.

Aaron,

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize that Sports Chalet does CO2 refills. Do you know the cost of filling a 5lb bottle?

Minh

PS - if you want to go scuba diving, let me know. :D

I don't remember off the top of my head, but it should be less than $10.

I am going to get my advanced diver cert and take the bouyancy class the weekend of the 29th and 30th. So if you are interested in going, you are more than welcome. We will be doing a boat dive for the classes.

Now I just need to get a good case for my camera and a light for taking pictures deep underwater.

Okay, they do CO2 refills at Sports Chalet, but they only have the specific attatchment for the paintball style tanks. So if you want to go there for refills you need to have the paintball style CO2 piece in place. There is a paintball shop here in elk grove on Elk Grove Blvd that might be able to do CO2 refills as well.

Thanks Aaron for checking into this for us. I guess filling our tank at Sports Chalet is not an option. BTW do you know if Sport Chalet can do a high pressure (3442 psi) fill on a HP steel tank?

Aaron,

Thanks for helping my sister out at Sport Challet the other day :). She's gonna bring it to the that paintball shop that you suggested.

Thanks
Gabe
