Refilling DI Cartridge

I have always used the prefilled DI cartridges. Just purchased some bulk resin and need to refill my cartridge. Should the resin be packed tightly or loosely?

Pack it tight. You can use a piece of pvc pipe with a cap on the end to pack the resin.
