so yesterday i tore down my 55 gallon mixed lps/sps tank. When i removed the sand bed i found that my take had a padded bottom(outisde the tank) with a highly reflective surface!
So i decided after having read all of Sanjay's articles about light that having a reflective bottom couldn't be bad, hopefully. I am sure that in time the bottom of the tank will be covered in coraline but until then i am enjoying the added intensity of light to this tank.
I would love to here comments or suggestions!
