Need help on reflector choice. I know everyone likes the lumen max, but I was thiking of useing hydoponic reflectors.
The ones that have glass and a cooling adapter so you can hook them together and to a fan to draw all the hot air out of the fixtures. This should reduce the inside hood temp by quite a bit.
The only thing I see is that they don't have a polished surface they have that dimppled look. They say 95% reflective just like most others.
Is this something I should worry about. Or should I forget it all and buy the lumen max. The hydoponic reflector are about $100 bucks for the less expensive one up to $150.
Another Idea would be to buy the lumen max an drill a lot of small holes just right above the bulb and buy the cooling adapter used on the hydo ones and attacha fan straight out the hood for each reflector.
Anyone have any other ideas???????
Help would be great!!!!!!!
