Try this, although it is going to depend on the Refractometer that you own. Google is the best way to find your info IMO.

Just type: How do I calibrate my (insert your unit here) Refractometer?

Kids at a certain age can do all the house work. It is kind of like sweat shop labor, but legal in the US.
