Refrigerant-to-Water Chillers - Any Experience?

Anyone have experience with refrigerant-to-water chillers (i.e. you supply a condensor unit outside), as an alternative to a traditional all-in-one chiller? Specifically, I was looking at:

The documentation is quite sparse, so it is a little hard for me to tell exactly how they work. Thanks, and I apologize if this has been answered before (I couldn't find any references in the archives).

Taking a quick look at it, the "refrigerant-to-water" tag has nothing to do with the remote located condenser. That's just referring to the heat exchanger.

So for that much money you don't get the condenser or the compressor? Just the shell & tube exchanger, basic controller, and TXV? I must be missing something.

I remember a TOTM that had some chillers outside wall mounted..... And about a hundred other awesome things... June 2007
