hey guys im wanting to make a refugium for my 30 gallon tank, and was wanting to know if i could also put my skimmer in the refugium also?

I don't put a skimmer in my fuge since that is the place I would like to encourage microfauna to grow. A skimmer may skim them out. I put my skimmer in the sump before fuge.

ok thanks guys, im going to use a 10g for the sump, fuge so does anybody know of any places where i could find a digram of how to do it?

I have one already drilled you may could use the deminsions 24"L x 12"W x 16"H. I you want pics let me know. Right now it's collecting dust.

I've already got a sump and was thinking of just adding a 10 gallon to make myself a fuge. What would be a good recommended set up pump wise? Do you need two pumps? It will sit beside my sump and I assume it needs to get water form the sump and then pump it back to the sump?

If you can install a small bulkhead on the side of your fuge (a plastic container will do) like the ones you see here, you can let the fuge drain into your sump. You can tee off your return line to send water into your fuge instead of using a small powerhead. You can easily control the flow into your fuge if you install a ball valve on the tee.
