Refugium in 12g nano

I wanted to build a refugium in my 12 gallon and i wanted to know what kind of light would the chaeto need to grow? has anyone tried this?

btw i have a f8/t5 that i took off my 6g eclipse and i wanted to kno if i could use that or is that too bright?

I am buying for my 24g aqua pod a palm light, which I was told is perfect for a refuge on small tanks.
it is a mini clip on power compact light - if you are interested, do a search on dr foster smith

chateo will grow and thrive under any type of light. Just dont go all out on the wattage consumption.

i use dual 400w 10k halides on a spider reflector for my chaeto...

j/k'ing...

i think walmart has these incredibly cheap and effective lights of america...

grows chaeto faster than...well, for those who havent heard it yet...rosie o'donnels beard!!!

I have chaeto growing under NO just fine. There are some tiny lights that will fit in the filter part of the nano if that's what your trying to do.

Window to the Sea has a few of there Nano's setup that way, seems to be working greaat.
