Refugium lighting

What is the best light source for a refugium. I want to do something simple, I have seen a thread here where someone used a certain type of bulb that they got at Menards or something and it worked great. The thread had all kinds of comparison pics. If anyone knows about this thread let me know because I cannot find it, and please give me any and all suggestions you might have.

Just go to Home Depot. There is a 65 watt compact flourescent outdoor fixture with a 5000K bulb (don't remember the brand) for around $40 or so. I've been using this for five months....no problems and much less than "aquarium" alternatives. The alge in my refugium has been very happy with it.
