refugium lighting

My husband bought a Philips 15w T8 plant and aquarium light. Not sure what the kelvins are. Is this a sufficient light for the refegium? Thanks guys!

I am using a 30" T5 18 watts 6700K plant bulb for my fuge. Macro algae growing well in my 20 gal long refugium.

I use a 18W home depot $20 T-5 special and it works well for the chaeto that I have in a 10 gallon fuge
