Phew...need one more bit of advice.
I am plumbing my new FOWLR tank return to split into two directions..one will go straight down into the sump/skimmer chamber, and one will move horizontally 5 ft into a refugium on the other side of the tank. (flow controlled by ballvalves on both outlets)
I need to find either a small acrylic tank (20 gallons or so) or a container (maybe rubbermaid) that I can drill a bulkhead into to flow from the refugium into the sump...any thoughts would be appreciated as far as type of container (or acrylic tank to use), bulkhead sizes, lighting, etc for the fuge.
If anyone has a drillable acrylic beat up tank laying around (cant be bigger than 20x12x18ish) or a light suitable for a fuge (chaeto growing) Id be happy to buy either or.
Also, is drilling glass as difficult (or as dangerous) as it sounds..I dont own a diamond circular drill bit.
