hi all ,

i have been using prodibio and running a ulns system so far so good..

i am planning on adding a refugium only for the biodiversity for feeding purposes only... not aglae growing purposes as the prodibio takes care of the nutrients..

whats the thoughts on this?

what should i use in the refugium to support this?

If the prodibio takes care of the nutrients, what would the fuge contents thrive off of?

I use a refugium in a UNLS system. I keep a ball of chaeto and a few live rocks. The chaeto grows very slowly, but it does grow. The refugium does provide a safe haven for pod production.

i think i will go with the refugium for the pods... it cant hurt the tank and is always a food source to the livestock
