Refugium

So I have one of those no duhhhh moments today. Setting up a 55 gallon tank with a 15 gal sump. I had no intention of creating a refugium until I realized that my skimmer could hang on the sump (coral life 125). So now I have a 15 gallon space for a refugium worth it or no? If yes what should I put in it?

Not sure if this works but if it does here's a pic of my setup. The refugium is not hooked to the tank yet getting the last of the supplies tommarow.

I'm just running a nano reef so it may not matter but adding a refugium with a ton of chaeto totally stabilized my tank.

15 gal is plenty of room for a fuge, i would do it

Alright it has begun... I added live sand cheap and some lr from lfs seeing as my tank was made from dry everything dry.
