what is the best live nutrient export to use in a refugium?

currently i use chaeto, lr/empty shells/lps skeletons, semi DSB, and lr rubble.

i was wondering if there was any other way to set this up to be the most effecient nutrient exporter.

A skimmer does wonders...

I just use some Cheato and a deep sand bed in my fuge. You can always set up an area before your fuge that's bare bottom and slower water movement to let denitrius drop out.

xenia and sponges also

xenia is a great source of nutrient export as chad said , and I had thought of just letting the stuff grow in a sump as main source of export and have a skimmer also.

i am thinking of going with all xenia... instead of chaeto.

i do run a skimmer
