refugiums

I have a 90 gal reef. I currently use a 74 pro clear wet/dry aquatic filter sysem, which is located under my tank in a cabinet. I was wondering if its possible/recommended to run a refugium through my sump under tank?

That's a common configuration, and should have a lot of benefits for the system. You could light the area, and use it for macroalgae, which could help in a lot of ways.
