Refugiums

You know its obvious that you can have a refugium next to you tank, not necessarily underneath your tank by seeing some pix on line of others peoples set up. so how can I plumb into my tank or sump to refugium next to my tank, I cannot have any overflow I have a corner bow front tank so i have to place a custom tank or refugium on a stand next to my tank. I've seen a nano system on a cabinet with sump underneath and the refugium to the left with no over flow. Does anyone have any suggestion or designs?

If you have the fuge drain back into the DT tank this design works very well. All you need is a powerhead, 1" PVC pipe and some couplings, and a piece of flex tube. The way I did it was have the PH pump the water into the fuge. I cut a hole in a glass 20 gallon tank. Then placed the tank slightly higher than the DT. The PVC pipe then drained the water back into the DT. Until a Turbo snail got into the pipe...lol. Good luck
