Regal Angel and zoanthids

Do you think a Regal Angel will eat zoanthids?
I'd heard from different lfs that the Regals are safe to add to a tank with zoanthids, but I'm thinking they want to make a sale.
I've had Flames, Coral Beauty's, Potters in my softy tank and haven't had any problems with that species.
Would it matter if they were Indo-Pacific or Red Sea?

I've always heard that regals eat zoos like candy, and its somewhat safe with SPS

i think they are more likely to eat them than not; a small one may sway the odds. even if he doesn't eat them for a while, at some point you might wake up to a zoaless tank.

I have a Majestic Angel in my 110 FO. After I set-up my 240 reef, I thought how cool she would look in there and I decided to test it out. My zoas were all closed and angry within a couple hours. I had been more worried about her eating my LPS, but she went right for my mushrooms and zoas. She went back in the 110 the next day. After that experience, I don't trust any of the large angels in a softie reef.
