Reefing On My Mind
Team RC
Anyone want a very nice Regal Angel... It will help you rid your tank of those pesky zoanthids... ;) He is not reef safe... I've had him for 4 or 5 months, and he was doing great!!! But he has since started nipping at my Zoas and my brain, so he has to go... I'll take $70... I'm not sure if anyone here has a FOWLR setup or not??? I tore down my 120 today and caught him... Special thanks to Chris for giving me the idea of draining all the water out... It was still a P I T A... But not quite as much had I not done it... :) Pics to come later...

Incidentally, for anyone considering Randy's offer, Regals are generally reef-safe with SPS and many LPS. I've had mine for a year and a half, and while she has devoured zoas every time I've tried, she leaves all my SPS, acans, blastos, etc. alone. Lately she's taken to picking at my xenia, but I consider that a helpful behavior...

Regals have a bad rep for hardiness, but I think it's usually because people have a hard time getting them to eat. If Randy's is eating well, then $70 is quite a steal.

Yeah... Mine is eating SPS real well too... Only my stags and a couple torts... lol But its sold anyways... :) Thanks for the bump Jeff... :D

I think that's pretty unusual for a Regal, Randy (eating SPS). Was the belly on yours orange (Red Sea type) or bluish-grey (Indo-Pac type)? I've read that the latter may be less reef-safe. I hope that's the case anyway (mine is an orange-belly)...

Mine was supposedly from the Coral Sea... It had a grey/blue belly though... Coral muncher... Good thing the micros/acans were in another tank... ;)
