Ok im on the verge of getting a 1" and a 2" indo regals. Im in the hobby 10+ years. I never FW dipped fish before. I was wondering how to do the dip. Do you dip them before acclimating them, after acclimating them ? Also the pro-v -veggies cubes I cant seem to find them anywhere any advise on them ?

Depends...if your new Regal looks healthy then I would do a 4 minutes FW dip (water is temperature and PH matched with your tank water) to check for flukes but if it doesn't look too good (especially after getting shipping stress) I would let it settle in a QT for 2 days before doing it otherwise it may get stressed out.
Some of us just treat it with Prazipro for flukes/internal parasites upon arrival and bypass the FW dip.

What is the best way to get them to eat?I have talk to my LFS and they said that they could get me live mysis shrimp if need be but only use them as a last result.
Who keeps one with other large angels? I passed on buying a pretty yellow belly regal that was about 5.5" since I have a 11" queen, 6" emp, and 5.5" blueface.....did I make the right choice? Or is there a chance in hell it could have worked? The queen is passive, but the emp and blueface are a toss-up.

Here's my Regal from Vanuatu. I got him from Live Aquaria. He's about 3.5" and has been eating everything I give him since day one. I have had him for a month or so, still in quarantine. I plan to move him to the big tank within the next few days. Notice he still has an eye spot on his dorsal.

I just got a 2.5 inch yellow belly regal from a LFS today and there is another 3 inch yellow belly regal there too but not feeding... Thinking of getting the 3 inch regal too? is it possible to pair them up at such a small size.. Regal is hermaphrodites right? They will start out as female and change to male right?

Here is my little girl. I have had her for close to a year, and she is the sweetest fish I have ever owned. She eats anything, and will even stick her head out of the water to get food from my hand. Something else that is interesting, is that she will rub up against my arm when I am working in the tank. She will let me rub her "chin" and will eat directly from my hand.
