I'd highly recommend introducing the regal 1st then the Emperor and only after the Regal is settled. IMO it would greatly increase your chances for success.

Yep, so far mine have been ok. One is definately dominant but not to the point of affecting the health of the other. Without chcking the dates they've been together longer than a year.
How much size difference was there? I have one in the dt that is approx 1/2" larger than the one in QT, so it will be a small introduced second. They are both yellow bellies.
Do you forsee any issues based on the information I provided above?

I have an Indo-Pacific Regal which proves I do not discriminate against Regal angels with a gray "belly". It still has a whole bunch of other colors and the gray in the stomach area of the Regal is rather covered by fins and is not a large area. All Regals are mostly covered with wonderful colors.
Anyways, back to the point of two angels in one tank. As I have written before, my Regal has been in the tank for 20 months now and I put the Blue Girdled Angel in the tank about 14 months ago. They are both around 3 1/2" although the Blue Girdled Angel has a deeper body with a round shape compared to the Regal Angel fish's more oval shape. In their 14 months togeather I have not seen anything which tells me they are not the best of tank mates. Of course, I picked the Regal and Blue Girdled "Majestic" angels for their smaller size 9" to 12" and semi-aggressive temperament. I did notice the Imperator is only 1' 3" and has a semi-aggressive temperament. I made an educated decision with much research to go with the Blue Girdled for size and temperament when deciding to find a second angel to go with my Regal. I would not go against the idea of introducing the Regal first although depending on tank size, their individual temperaments, and other tank mates as smaller fish can act as dither species by distracting the object of a fishes aggression, who knows? My tank is really not large enough for a bigger angel over one foot in length say 1 1/2' or larger angel for my five foot tank. The angels also get along with the Powder Blue Tang and Purple Tangs who have been in the tank for over two years. I also have two pairs of clowns, Clarkiis and Cinnamons, with five anemones all which make for some distraction for both angels. I had an Imperator when my tank was around a year old and it came with adult colors and a length of six inches. It mysteriously turned belly up one day while I was at work after I had it in the tank for maybe three weeks? I really bummed me out and it was about year before I got another angel, the Regal I now have.

Well I started treatment on Regal #2. He had a small amount of ich and his fins were slightly tattered. He has been kind of jerking around. He is still eating, but not agressively. I usually like them to be eating better before I treat, but I do not want him to stress to much due to disease. I started a round of Prazipro and Cupramine. He still is eating so that is a good thing. I think he had a few flukes for sure because the jerking and twitching has stopped.
Need some help with treatment in QT. Got home from work today and #2 had a red spot on his right side bottom fin. It has a tiny cottony growth, with what looks like red irritation. His top fin appears to have the same irritation, but no cottony growth. I am treating with cupramine and prazipro. Should I be using something else. Sorry for the pics, these are the best I could do.

I know white ulcerous growths can be LLHE which a main treatment is Vitamin C.
I do not know about fresh water baths since I have never done them.
I would email techsupport@drsfostersmith.com with your description and preferably some pictures which show these "spots". They have marine biologists and I think they are a good resource in addition to reef central. I purchased my Regal from them in August of 2008 and it did not have any disease issues. I would get a jump of treating this fish since it looks like it is in the early stages of whatever is bothering it since it looks pretty good to me from your pictures?

Well Regal #2 seemed to get better, then yesterday he looked worse. More cottony spots and I believe it is velvet. I went to Petsmart which did not have much of a selection and got "Fungus Cure" by API. It says it was for freshwater but I looked up the ingredients on my ipod touch on the internet and it said they could also be used for marine fish. They are acriflavine and victoria green b. The fish is still eating, and seems ok. A little scratching and funny swimming here and there. His breathing does seem somewhat heavy, but not out of control. Should I attempt a freshwater bath?

Regal #2 passed on to the ocean in the sky on April 14th. Regal #1 is doing well. She/he has acclimated well into the display and eats anything I put in the tank. Seems fatter all the time. LOL.
