Regal Angel Question

I have a buddy who is willing to give me a Red Sea Regal Angel. My question is would he mess with my Zoa's and clams?

In a word, probably. Some are very tame and can be wheened off of coral if fed consistently and regularly. If you are cautious and watch him every day for the first few weeks, feeding when necessary, it is possible to have no ill effects...but this is still a crapshoot. be careful if you are to try this. Not saying don't do it, though, because angels are awesome. Maybe with that many tangs you could be alright if he follows their lead for food.

thanks for the advice craig, when i went to see him i was floored at how gorgeous he was! the colors on these guys are unreal.

There was an amazing one in the sps tank at Ocean Blue last time I was in there. They said that it didn't bother the corals in that tank. Might be worth going and talking to them about theirs.
