Super Housemonkey!
I dont know how often you guys hear back on success stories with your customers, but I wanted to tell you about mine.
I purchased an Indo Pacific Regal Angel from Diver's Den on 11-23-2007, (order number A2585481). Here is the picture from Diver's Den:
I received the angel on 11-27-07, and immediately put it into Quarentine with the Tomini Tang I purchased from Live Aquaria at the same time, (order number A2585480). They stayed there for a month and I was able to get the Regal to eat prepared foods.
Here it is now....
Somewhere around April of 2008, it developed the misbar on the left side....
The fish eats raw shrimp, scallop, mysis and mysids, Rod's Food, Spectrum Flake and Pellet, and Nori. Initially, all it would eat was shrimp, scallop, and mysis.
I want to absolutely clear that I do NOT reccomend this fish for beginners or those that dont have the time and space to work closely acclimating and quarentining it.
In my experiance and opinion, the two things most critical to the survival of fish like this are quality collection and handling by the retailer and their staff, (to include collectors), and the efforts by the owner in QT'ing and acclimating the fish to their system. You guys have the first part down perfectly.
Live Aquaria/Diver's Den is one of two online livestock stores I will reccomend to anyone who asks. I have had nothing but positive experiances with your customer service and the quality of the animals I have purchased from you.
Thanks for all your hard work,
Nick
