Regal Angelfish Disease ID please

I have a video of my regal angel. please freeze the play at around 20sec and u will see the head has spots. I think its ich. but only the head has it, the body is clean as i have tried to take like 200 pictures and from them i see the spot mostly on body and some on tail.

the fins and tail looks kinda fade and a little frayed?

i have these 2 fishes, regal and baby emperor for about 2 weeks now. first week i QT them in a 20 gal long and treat them both with PriZiPro for about 6 days. then i put them in my 40 breeder reef tank been running for 2 years i use to QT new fish. the parameter are all good. the roses and a purple gigantea are all thriving on this tank. a cleaner shrimp take permanent resident in there.

the fish have changed in color, more fade and pale looking but still eat what i feed it, flakes and mysis and brine shrimp. no appetise change.

i notice this fade and p[ale looking the day after i put them in the tank so i took them out and fresh water dip them for 15 mins and then back into a seperate 10 gal tank and i does 1 package of api erythromycin powder.

Is it Fluke? is it Ich? or is it an infection? i cant look at the bottom of the fesh water dip container after i dip them because its a blue container and my eyes arent in good shape to see very fine white stuff in the water. my poor vision :worried:

also i have attached a picture. but please also look at the video if you can. thanks for your help ! i really really want to save these 2 beautifull fishes and i am loosing hair over them

I don't see anything immediately, but because of lighting, video diagnosis is difficult. The Regal may be acting reclusive. Is that correct? Behavior is always the first diagnostic tool for parasites.

I froze the first video at the 20 sec mark, and that does appear to be ich to me. Also, in the 2nd video the Regal is breathing kinda hard - another bad sign.

Personally, I would run both angels (and any other fish that have shared water with these fish) thru TT. Or if you have access to Chloroquine phosphate, that would be ideal as it treats both ich & velvet.

hi guys

the fish does not change their behaviours, they are the same, not elusive, still eating normally at feed time.

like i said, i started the api erythromycin powder last night and along with it i start the TT and last night is the begining of the TT process.

TT will eliminate ich from the equation.
