Regretting marine betta

How long has the OP had the marine betta?

Mine has never touched another fish even though some were barely 1".
One of my favorite fish in my tank.

Same here...have had mine about 4 years...'loves' to do his 'moray eel' impression...usually stays close to the rockwork, rarely see him eat, BUT, at 4 years, he's obviously eating something!

How long has the OP had the marine betta?

Have had the betta for about 3 months or so. Always out when eating and what is weird is since I started this thread he has been out ALOT. What's that about lol. By the way the fish was at the lfs for months before I bit the bullet and picked him up. Great fish that eats all frozen and omega pellets. He shows absolutely no interest in the 2 cleaner shrimp at all. Have to live with cryptic I guess. Can't change the way a fish lives!!!

Had mine for about 2 years first 6 months forgot I had him since I never say him now he will come up with all my other fish to eat and stays out 70 percent of the time, great fish imo has never messed with even tiny clowns.

i got mine to come out during the day by lower my lighting with a dimmer switch and increased it lil by lil every 2 weeks and eventualy he came out for about 4-6 hrs in day light every day out in the open/eating/eel dancing
